This weekends LCS featured some excellent games. With the completion of week 2 we have more of an idea of who this years stars could be, and who needs to go back to solo-queue.

All eye’s were on TSM again this week, and although they managed to secure their first win over Optic Gaming, they still fell short against current leaders Echo Fox. Echo Fox managed to stall out the game and recover from a 10k gold deficit to claim the win at 55 minutes.

In his post match interview Echo Fox’s support Adrian said despite TSM’s poor performance so far, he “still believes their lineup is an upgrade over last year”, and miscommunication between team members holding them back.

Another highlight game of the weekend was 100 Thieves vs Team Liquid. 100 Thieves managed to take down the super team in a convincing 46 minute match, with Doublelift continuing the meme and dying with Flash up in the final fight.

Next week the pros shift to patch 8.2 which should see a shift in the meta. With the removal of Frost Queens Claim and the changes to relic shield we should start to see some changes in both mid and bot lane. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see the results looking quite different following next weeks games.

As for the end of week 2 though, the leader board hasn’t actually shifted. Echo Fox currently hold the number one spot as the only undefeated team, and Golden Guardians trail at 0W-4L.
